About this job:
We are seeking an experienced e-commerce professional who will be responsible for driving our organization's marketing program. You will work directly with the company founders and executive team on the vision and execution for growing the brand.

Location/Hours:
This is a full-time on-site* role in our Santa Fe Springs, California office. Some remote days each week available following onboarding/training.

*All necessary and applicable safeguards are in place at our offices to prevent Covid-19 infection, including (but not limited to) masking and social distancing.

Compensation:
Starting at $100K + bonus potential

Responsibilities:

• Work with founders to set high-level marketing strategy and drive the vision and execution for profitable customer retention and acquisition across paid and organic marketing channels, leading strategy across search, social, email, SMS, and affiliate marketing

• Ensure revenue growth that aligns with the company's marketing efficiency goals, and develop new and creative ways to profitably scale customer acquisition and retention

• Develop and manage marketing processes, KPIs, and systems for analysis

• Analyze data to make strategic decisions and improvements to marketing programs and processes

• Build and manage a team of in-house digital marketers (and third party marketing vendors where appropriate), and work closely with the operations and product development teams to ensure smooth growth and up to date communication with the brand's audience

• Manage website operations, maintaining legal compliance with website operations, and optimizing for improved AOV, LTV, and conversions
Stay up to date on the latest best practices in the digital marketing industry (e.g., CCPA, GDPR, etc., compliance)

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of digital marketing experience with either an agency that serves DTC e-commerce clients OR as part of an in-house marketing team at a DTC-focused e-commerce brand

• Experience building, leading, and managing marketing teams, including virtual teams overseas, with a record of substantial and sustainable profitable growth

• Direct experience managing paid acquisition on digital platforms including Facebook/Instagram and Google, achieving a target blended ROAS, reducing CAC, and increasing retention

• A history of developing and managing successful and profitable brand partnerships and influencer/affiliate marketing programs

• A record of supporting revenue growth with effective SMS and email marketing strategy

• Experience with both direct response marketing and brand building

• Uses data to drive marketing decisions

• Hands-on experience with e-commerce marketing apps and tools including, but not limited to, Shopify, Google Analytics, Google Ads/YouTube/Shopping, Facebook/Instagram (including Ads Manager), Klaviyo, PostScript, and Refersion

• A deep understanding of how to pair creative, copy, and targeting to deliver profitable ROAS/MER

• Direct experience managing paid acquisition on digital platforms including Facebook/Instagram and Google (experience with Snapchat and TikTok a plus), and achieving a target blended ROAS/MER, and reducing CAC

• A history of developing and managing successful direct response paid acquisition programs

• Uses empirical data to drive marketing decisions

We are seeking a results-oriented sales representative who will be responsible for the growth and development of Boredwalk's wholesale program. You'll be responsible for maintaining and nurturing existing wholesale relationships and developing relationships with new wholesale partners. The ideal candidate will be a driven self-starter who enjoys building and maintaining wholesale relationships and hitting sales goals.

Compensation:
Starting at $65,000-$85,000 annual salary + performance based bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with existing wholesale customers, informing them of new product releases and encouraging repeat business
  • Seek out and recruit new wholesale clients
  • Respond to wholesale inquiries
  • Identify and attend wholesale trade shows that are appropriate for the Boredwalk brand
  • Maintain working knowledge of Boredwalk's product line, pricing, and wholesale policies
  • Manage online wholesale portals (Faire, Abound, Bulletin, Boutsy, etc.), maintaining a list of current product offerings, and merchandising portals to increase sales
  • Analyze and report wholesale program performance to stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in wholesale sales in the gift or apparel industry, including sales rep experience and trade show experience
  • Experience nurturing leads and building relationships online and via phone/video communications
  • Experience working with wholesale portals such as Faire, Bulletin, Abound, etc.
  • Existing buyer relationships with independent boutiques and major retailers required
  • Highly motivated with a proven track record of sales
  • Outside sales and business development experience, including cold calls and sales emails
  • Proficiency with MS Office, email, and Google suite (Docs, Drive, Calendar, etc.)
  • Experience initiating and developing wholesale client relationships
